About the RN to BSN (Honors) program
AIU Health Science Centers at the Gambia, College of Nursing offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) for Registered Nurse (RN). The program equips the student with knowledge, skills, values and prepares the student for a professional practice in a variety of settings. BSN graduates are prepared as general clinical practitioners.
BSN coursework emphasizes critical thinking, health and human functioning, care and therapeutics, person/environment fit and health care resources. The BSN program is highly competitive, and demands rigorous academics combined with experiential learning.
Certain credit hours are allocated for their RN education. A minimum of 120 hours is required to complete the BSN (Honors) degree.
